Figured Maple     $40
The maple used in this pen was rescued from a firewood pile. Some of the nicest figured wood can be found that way. The long single barrel shows off the grain of the wood nicely and the pen features titanium gold plated fittings and uses a "Parker" style refill.

A burl is a growth on the side of the tree or branch in which the grain has grown in a deformed manner. It often looks like a rounded growth on the tree. The long single barrel shows off the grain of the wood nicely and this pen has Black Titanium plated fittings and uses a "Parker" style refill.
