A little about me: I grew up and went to high school in southern Ontario and then served 10 years in the Canadian Armed Forces (Air) before going back to College and obtaining an Electrical Eng. Tech. Diploma. I then worked in Ontario's nuclear power industry for 28 years before retiring and taking up woodworking as a hobby. At Rick's Pens N Things I make some of the finest one of a kind writing instruments. Just as no two trees are alike no two of my pens will ever be exactly the same. They may be similar but there will be differences. Every pen is individually hand turned on a wood lathe in my small southern Ontario shop and all are sanded with numerous progressively finer grits of sandpaper before the final finish and polish is applied. While browsing through my website if you see a particular style of pen you like but prefer it in a different wood or material your choice can be accommodated at no extra charge. Perhaps you have some wood with special meaning to you. Your wood could be used to make a pen in any of my pen styles at no extra charge. Minimum size for most styles is 14 cm. long and 2 cm. square preferably 2 pieces just in case. Laser engraving is available at a cost of $15 for the first line and $6 for each additional line. Give 6 to 8 weeks for delivery as the pens are not engraved on site. Prices shown include shipping any where in Canada and if multiple pens are ordered shipping charges will be adjusted downwards to reflect actual cost. Payment and Shipping Member of
